just when I thought I had finished all the sides I realised I had done some of them upside down...time to pull 6 of them apart and start again.

today i glued and nailed the inner side of the 24 panels of the lightbox.  

i have not checked all the panels make the circle, i hope my calculations were correct.

the university of derby have allowed me use their facilities - the technicians have been great, helping me with CAD and showing me how to set up the laser cutter to etch into the glass votives.  each votive has to be etched individually, so i will be spending many days placing each one and aligning it ready for the machine.
